Welcome to Tywyn Town Council

Tywyn is a town, community, and seaside resort on the Cardigan Bay coast of southern Gwynedd, Wales. It was previously in the historic county of Merionethshire. Famous throughout Wales and the World for being the home of the Talyllyn Railway and the location of the Cadfan Stone, a stone cross engraved with the earliest known example of written Welsh, Tywyn is surrounded by beaches, mountains, estuaries and the Snowdonia National Park.
